當他的生命求助無門時，有一位基督徒朋友接他到家裡住，從此改變了他的一生。
住在朋友家時,除了開school bus, 他每天所做的事， 就是一邊讀詩篇，一邊改編成歌曲。
後來他成為一位9位孩子的父親，因著身為一個真正的男人而感到驕傲。
